Logging in to Rev360 is simple once you know which details it expects, migrated or brand new.
Most of the confusion around this login is not really about Rev360 itself. It is about which of two very different starting points applies to you, an old TaxPro Max account or none at all.
The portal address
Rev360, run by the Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), formerly FIRS, sits at selfservice.nrs.gov.ng. Bookmark that address directly rather than searching for it each time, since old TaxPro Max links will not carry you across.
A search engine can still surface outdated pages about the old portal. Typing the address directly avoids landing on one of those by mistake.
Logging in with a migrated TaxPro Max account
If you filed returns on TaxPro Max before, there is nothing new to set up. Your account moved to Rev360 automatically, with login details sent by email, so the same username and password should still work on Rev360.
- Go to selfservice.nrs.gov.ng.
- Enter your existing TaxPro Max username and password.
- Complete any one-time verification step the portal asks for.
- Confirm your filing history appears once you are in.
If step 2 fails, do not create a second account. A duplicate account on top of a migrated one is a common way filing history ends up split across two logins.
If you cannot remember your TaxPro Max password at all, use the portal's own reset option rather than guessing repeatedly, since several failed attempts can lock an account temporarily.
Logging in for the first time
If you have never filed with the NRS before, register directly on Rev360 rather than looking for TaxPro Max, which Rev360 replaced on 30 Apr 2026.
- Go to selfservice.nrs.gov.ng and choose registration rather than login.
- Have your Tax ID ready. If you do not know it yet, look it up first at taxid.nrs.gov.ng.
- Follow the registration steps the portal sets out for your taxpayer type.
- Log in with the details you just created.
Logging in from a shared office computer
A Rev360 session left open on a shared machine is a real risk, more so than with a personal filing cabinet, since a login gives access to payment history and identifying details in one place. Log out properly once you are done, rather than simply closing the browser tab.
What you need on hand
Keep your Tax ID, and the email address or phone number linked to your account, within reach before you start. Most login problems trace back to one of these two not matching what the portal expects.
A business should also agree beforehand who holds the login. Splitting Rev360 access across several staff without a clear owner is how a business ends up locked out of its own account during a busy filing week.
If you would rather understand what Rev360 is before logging in at all, our plain explainer covers what it replaced and when it launched. If the login itself keeps failing, our troubleshooting guide works through the fixes in order.
What to do next once you are in
Once logged in, check that your filing history came across correctly before submitting anything new. Our guide to what you can do on Rev360 sets out registration, filing, payment and certificate requests in one place.
If all you actually need right now is a tax clearance certificate and Rev360 is getting in the way, start that request separately instead, or read how to get one online. For everything else this login sits inside, see the NRS and Rev360 hub.
